Plasterwork Monaco & Alpes-Maritimes

Top-of-the-range plasterwork in Monaco and the Alpes-Maritimes

At GP Construction, plastering is much more than just partitioning or lining. It’s a demanding, finishing and interior structural trade that contributes directly to the thermal, acoustic and visual comfort of buildings.

Our know-how applies to both new construction and renovation, with particular attention paid to the flatness of surfaces, the accuracy of alignments and the quality of materials.

The art of plaster to structure and enhance your spaces

Plastering is at the heart of finishing work.

It can be used to create volumes, modulate space, integrate technical networks or accommodate decorative finishes.

Our craftsmen are experts in all techniques, from conventional lining to technical ceilings, including more complex works using special sheets or bio-sourced materials.

Our plastering services

We offer a complete range of plastering services, including lining, partitioning, false ceilings and decorative moldings. Each project is adapted to the configuration of the premises, the thermal or acoustic objectives, and the finishing criteria imposed by the specifications.

Partition walls

  • Metal-framed partitions with BA13, BA15 or high-density plasterboard.

  • Reinforced acoustic options, fire resistance, waterproof partition for wet rooms.

  • Alveolar partitions for light renovation or rapid partitioning.

Thermal linings

  • Bonded or framed insulation (mineral wool, polystyrene, wood fiber).

  • Treatment of thermal bridges and capillary rise.

  • Thermal linings with integrated vapour barrier for attics, perimeter walls or basements.

False ceilings

  • Suspended ceilings on metal framework or perimeter rails.
  • Integration of spotlights, technical hatches, air-conditioning, VMC or audio networks.
  • Standard or specific plates: acoustic, fire-resistant, perforated for sound correction.

Special works

  • Curved or stepped ceilings.

  • Niches, cornices, invisible ceiling hatches.

  • Incorporation of indirect lighting and decorative hollow joints.

Materials and components used in plasterwork

We select plastering materials adapted to each use, to guarantee the durability of structures, thermal and acoustic comfort, and the quality of finish expected in high-end projects.

Plasterboard

Standard (BA13), reinforced (BA18), water-repellent (H1), high-hardness (HD), acoustic or fire-retardant depending on zone.
Perforated sheets for acoustic correction in highly reverberant rooms.

Integrated insulation

Glass wool or rock wool for thermal and acoustic protection.
Extruded polystyrene or composite foam for thin technical lining.
Optional biobased insulation (cellulose wadding, wood fiber).

Metal framework

Certified galvanized rails and stiles, adjustable hangers, threaded rods.
Anti-vibration connectors for acoustic ceilings.

Coatings and strips

Fast-setting lightweight plaster, ready-to-use paste for finishing joints.
Reinforced strips for protruding angles, metal or plastic reinforcing angles.

Execution phases of a plastering project

  • Reading of architectural plans, choice of plates according to use, coordination with other trades.

  • Mark heights and reservations for ducts and networks.

  • Installation of perimeter rails, vertical studs and furring.

  • Check centre distances, plumb and level by laser.

  • Plasterboard screws according to type and position (wall, ceiling, partition).

  • Incorporation of reinforcements, sheathing and insulation.

  • Joint tapes, smoothing compounds, careful sanding.

  • Preparation for painting or wall covering.

Each phase is rigorously controlled, documented and validated by our in-house control office or in conjunction with partner design offices.
