Unique tiling expertise at the service of your projects

The art of tiling is much more than a simple covering. It is a true work of precision, aesthetic sense and technical skill that allows one to enhance a space while guaranteeing its durability.

At GP Construction, we consider every tile installation a work of interior architecture, a perfect blend of functionality and refinement. Our team of expert tile setters works on new construction and renovation projects throughout the Monaco and Alpes-Maritimes region, paying particular attention to material selection, meticulous execution, and adapting to site constraints.

Whether we’re cladding the floors of a contemporary villa, covering the walls of a Moroccan zellige hammam or laying technical tiles in a designer bathroom, we apply the best professional practices, in compliance with current DTU regulations.

We work with exceptional materials: porcelain stoneware, marble, terracotta, pâte de verre mosaics, natural stone and more. Each job is preceded by a personalized study and followed by meticulous execution to guarantee impeccable visual results and long-lasting durability.

Our TILE INSTALLATION Services

Full-body porcelain stoneware

Extremely resistant to impact, abrasion and chemicals, this material is ideal for high-traffic areas. It offers perfect dimensional stability and a uniform finish, even in large formats.

Large format tiles

Tiles ranging from 80×80 cm to 300×100 cm create a spectacular effect and minimize visible joints. Suitable for minimalist and contemporary surfaces, it requires a perfectly flat substrate and expert installation.

Mosaics

Used for curved or complex surfaces (swimming pools, hammams, niches), they offer decorative cladding and perfect adaptability. Available in glass paste, stoneware, marble, or glazed ceramic.

Handmade terracotta and zellige tiles

Zelliges, terracotta tiles or hand-glazed tiles, for a Mediterranean or vintage feel. Each piece is unique, laid using traditional techniques that respect the irregularity and charm of the material.

Characteristics of the materials and finishes used

We favor high-quality and durable materials:

Surface finish

Satin matte, mirror polished, anti-slip structured for wet areas.
Various visual effects: imitation wood, concrete, marble, natural stone.
Rectified effect for ultra-thin joints and a perfectly homogeneous surface.

Technical performance

Frost, wear and tear, and UV resistant for outdoor installations.
UPEC classification adapted to each use: housing, hotels, commercial areas.
Controlled coefficient of friction for stairs, showers or pool decks.

Finishing elements

Matching or contrasting baseboards, anti-slip tile stair nosing, recessed threshold bars.
Polished mitered corner trim for a discreet and elegant finish.
Tiled technical access panels with invisible cutouts.

Phases in the execution of a tiling project

Contrôle de la planéité, vérification de l’humidité résiduelle, évaluation de l’adhérence. Si besoin, mise en œuvre d’une chape traditionnelle ou fluide, ou d’un ragréage haute performance.

drawing up installation plans, defining axes, balancing cuts, harmonizing patterns.

  • Glue-down installation: systematic double gluing for large formats.

  • Sealed installation: traditional mortar for heavy or outdoor slabs.

  • Laying on slabs: for terraces, without glue or mortar, allowing ducts to pass under the slab.

diamond or water-jet grinding for complex shapes, with smoothed edges and perfect fit at corners and thresholds.

  • Fine joints (<2 mm) with fast-setting mortar or epoxy resin for high chemical resistance.
  • Traditional wide joints for terracotta or natural stone.

end-of-job cleaning, possible application of a water-repellent or anti-stain treatment depending on the material.

Each phase is rigorously controlled, documented and validated by our in-house control office or in conjunction with partner design offices.
